About Dr. Joe Ellis
4Smiling Aesthetic Dentistry was founded in 1966 by Dr. Joe Ellis when he moved to the Clear Lake Area from Kansas City after graduating from The University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Joe has since built an international reputation for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry. His unique approach in caring for his patients and building long-term relationships allows Dr. Joe to focus on the total health of each individual patient.
Dr. Joe also served as the Director of Special Projects for The Center of Professional Development at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is also a frequent lecturer for Texas Dental Association and American Dental Association, and has been published in The Journal of Dental Research, The Journal of Dental Practice Administration and The Texas Dental Journal.
Dr. Joe have been named Top Dentists 2005–2006 by H Texas Magazine and America’s Top Dentists 2005 -2006 by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.

About Dr. Eric Ellis In 1996, Dr. Eric Ellis joined his father's practice and opened 4Smiling's second office in Pasadena. Dr. Eric grew up embracing Dr. Joe's commitment, compassion and philosophy for dentistry, and he knew from a young age that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. Dr. Eric focuses on all aspects of dentistry, but specializes in cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration and TMJ, neck and facial pain. Eric received his degree in Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1995, and his Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in 1991. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Eric have been named Top Dentists 2005–2006 by H Texas Magazine and America’s Top Dentists 2005 -2006 by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
